Faketown News is satire: a made-up town, made-up people, made-up events, reported with a completely straight face. Nothing here is real, and it isn't trying to be. I started it because I believe humor is the best medicine, and the world could use a small-town newspaper that's allowed to be ridiculous on purpose.

Is any of this real?

No. Faketown, its residents, its politicians, its weather, and every story published here are fiction, written for entertainment. Any resemblance to real people, places, or events is coincidental or intentionally absurd parody, not a factual claim about anyone real.
